Ok iv just noticed that the bottom of my rear diff is wet! but i couldn't see this from the tow-bar side! only when messing with exhaust the other day i spotted it checked the level & i think its been running half full for 6 months! so iv put some thicker multi grade in to clear it out with after a few miles!

anyhow the main question is is it a quick job to change the seal?

i.e take P-shaft off then fork out the seal & bosh a new one in?

Piece of **** yo need to lock the flange when undoin the nut tho. I used a lorry jack handle with a hole drilled thru it.

hook the old one out and grease the center of new one, gently and evenly tap new one in, without damaging it

i changed mine twice still leaked , turned out it was a blocked breather, took it off cleaned it sorted
