posted a thread the other week about holes in my rear diff pan on my 300tdi auto disco dropped oil out filled holes in with the epoxy resin filled oil back up then another hole about a cm is now there on top of the pan,

question looked at glyn lewis diff pans as there 6mm can the diff pans be cut off and re welded in y axle is on car still on car with axle off ground plenty of room to get in,

any advise please on what best pan to get and how i go about the fitting of it

i weld them in situ but remove diff first and pack tubes to keep them clean when grinding ,cheap britpart one is sufficient
 
If you are going to be using it off road then the gwyn lewis one will be ideal (and you don't need to buy diff guards), if just normal use then one from britpart etc will suffice
 
its my everyday drive plus greenlane plus pay n play plus top run every day crap in it
