@gstuart has given you a couple of addresses to research, but I don't think it's quite as easy as operating some touch switches on your magic touch screen in a secret sequence to achieve what you want. In all probability you're going to need an external diagnostics device such as the IID.
Having had a quick read, is it possible to select a country in the settings?
In which case you could try Sweden and see what that does, however not sure if the D4 does it via on on board menu system,. But be aware, I know some cars will also change the lighting focus on the headlights if the country is changed to allow for LHD / RHD applications.
Cheers
You cant tell how pretty you look in an ugly JLR product when you are driving it so don't worry about it. Also the safety come from the fact that even in daylight the lights are bright enough to make you more noticeable. That's where the safety comes in. And why drl's exist. Thanks for your advice goonarmy. I don't want to use my dipped headlights as they don't look as pretty as the DRLs. I wouldn't say the light was any better in daylight, so the safety aspect is not relevant. I'm not worried about hassle, I just want to know how to get the rear lights on when the DRLs are on. I know it is possible. I'm not looking for advice on whether I should look for problems that don't exist by the way. Its not a problem, its a question.
maybe i'm dumb or misundertanding something but DRL on the headlamp should look like dipped beam so i dont understand how you can see a difference in the mirror.... anyway it seems that if you switch it to second market option you'll have the side lights on(doable only with dedicated tester), see attachment
