I have a 2013 Defender 90 with 60,000 miles on the clock. When I pull away, I hear a clunk from the rear.

I’ve looked at the A-frame ball joint, and visually it looks okay, the Defender is in good condition and has never been off-road.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be or where to look?

It doesn’t clunk every time, but it’s just annoying as I know it’s there.

Look harder & use a bar.

Clonks on rear are
A frame
Trailing arms
Loose prop shaft
Sticking hand brake
& spare wheel

Plus the ball joint nut working lose despite mega torquing up

Also worth checking the UJs. Recently, my rearmost UJ seized and made a horrible clunk/clang/knock when pulling away, but strangely no noises when moving.
