I am not sure if my 90 has a problem or not, some articles I have read say it is normal others are saying a Brake Compensator thing.

I had to brake quite seriously the other evening when a bus driver pulled out of a junction without bothering to see if anything was coming or not so I had to apply the brakes extremely hard, I was doing about 40mph, this then caused the rear to swap ends with the front which was a little unexpected shall I say.

I have disco front and rear diffs fitted so have discs all round, new master cylinder, all new pipes, new hoses, new discs and pads, all new suspension and bushes and the brakes have no air in them and I actually have a really good pedal on it.

This has left me a little worried to be honest as if I had to lock the wheels up at any faster speed, say on a motorway, it would cause a major incident.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or can help me rectify the problem.

Regards

Ivan

Tyres in good condition and matched tread pattern / depth? Also when you replaced all the pipework are you sure you got the front and rear brake pipes on the correct ports of the PRV?

You have a problem. 90 brakes will stop the vehicle reasonably quickly, and in a perfectly straight line if everything is working properly.
What tyres and pressures are you running? not that it should do that, whatever!

could be poor fronts or if you cant find a reason might be worth fitting later rear disc bias valve ntc8836

The tyre are all good, 2 brand new on the front with the rears having about 7mm on them, different makes front to rear though.

i had this on mine.

Which way round is your Shunt valve plumbed in when you stuck your new pipes in .

the obvious way to plumb it up was back to front - my landy wanted to spin round. MOT lad at my local garage (whos a landy fan) pointed out my error , swapped it round and i can stick the thing on its nose now !

The rear brake line fits in to the front of the valve and the pipe from the master cylinder goes to the back of the valve.

I have also tried swapping the wheels front to back and still getting the same problem.

I have had a look at the later bias valve but I can't see where this would fit in to the pipework. The Valve that is on there now (A G Valve) only has one inlet and one outlet on it?

id think you need to find the fault with the system you have first, have you any pics of the valve you have and pipe work to it as is, does pedal feel good and firm

All of the system is brand new except the G Valve, new discs, pads, callipers refurbished with new seals and pistons, new hoses, and pipes, new master cylinder. all bleed lovely with no fade on the pedal, all was good until I locked them up.
