Hi guys is it difficult to replace rear pads on a p38 petrol 4.6 as mine will need doing soon so i thought iwill give it a go.

it depends how sticky your calipers are, replacing the pins is a good option but if the pistons rusted and stick, better get a new caliper. Shouldn't be too hard if you know what your doing.

You ought to join the police then, thought you had them nicked ;):D

Lol yea Had me tool chest nicked out of the caravan couple of week back (dont ask why it were in there its a long story)
The 40mins post was a joke cos I can never find owt in my shead

She threw you out, living in the caravan ? sounds like heaven :D

I wish lol
No I was working on the car and the wife was rushing me cos we were ment to be going out so I just threw all my gear in the caravan cos its too on the drive
Anyway I forgot to close the curtains on it and forgot to move my gear when I got back!
About 3 days later on my way to work I noticed the caravan door had been forced open and when I looked somone had been in it and took my chest and my cordless grinder
Not a happy bunny
It wasent a massively expensive kit but its the principal
And caravans contents are not covered on my insurance

Bummer, know what you mean, you have spanners in your kit that you know are perfect for a particular job. When they are borrowed/nicked you don't half miss them, makes the job twice as hard:mad:

Your not wrong
Thing is you dont know you need a particular tool till you need it! By then the cars in too many bits to drive to halfords to get one
