Hello

I'm elbow deep in my first Land Rover project, and I understand that they came fitted with different rear axles, some stronger than others.

Which one is this please? [excuse the huge image, forgot to resize before uploading it, but it makes for good quality viewing]

Not military spec then. Not fussed really but thought it might be relevant. BTW, what are the differences please?

obvious difference from yer piccy is the fuel tank. mil specs have one tank under each seat. if yer do a search there is a list somewhere of all the differences. like rear crossmember and the mil g/box cross member is bolt-on ( which yours int) front bumper has extra bit on the top of each end. but things like the bumper are easy to change some of the others aren't
