So my wheels keep catching when i bump around the fields at home, causing the arch to be a bit distorted now, whats the best way to cut them? ive got a dremel and would imagine thats best. But im concerned about leaving a sharp edge that will slice into my tyre if it catches again.

cheers

4 inch grinder with cutting blade or stihl saw are quicker and easier. A camel cut would be best tried first. As for sharp edges I filed mine so they weren't sharp to touch, not cut a tyre yet.

thanks, that was i was looking for. im only on 31" tyres atm so dont need to cut much off, plan to keep the disco as stock looking as possible with a few mods but nothing major

You could refold the edge over if you allow 10mm extra before you cut them, being alloy its easy enough to do !
