As above, I reckon I've bent it or it was bent when I bought the car. Took my 300tdi out on some private land with the kids earlier and somehow the rear ARB removed itself from the axle.
Not a massive issue as I tied it up on the rear lashing points to keep it out of the way until I got home, about 4 miles.
Trouble is when I got home and untied it, the bar ends are nowhere near level as I expected them to be. This probably explains why my Disco never seemed to sit quite straight, nothing drastic, but I noticed it.
Now my question is, does it need to be fitted for the dreaded MOT as I'll need to replace not only the bar, but drop-links as well, as these had managed to pop themselves out of their axle mountings, thus dropping & dragging the bar.
Hopefully someone can help.

Mine's been MOT'd numerous times (and passed) with no roll bars. :D

Mines not even connected at one side as I couldn't get a bolt back in after changing mu sump and ive noticed no difference! It'll be coming off when I can be bothered

Would it not have a negative effect on the handling to leave the ARB off the car?
Does the vehicle sit squarely now it the ARB has removed itself?

green disco never had em.. and you'll get better articulation without it.
