Hi peoples of landyland
I've got a bit of a clonking sound when the rear axle goes up and down, started when say just one rear wheel went over a bump now it's all the time, I got my son to rock it and at the rear of the rear axle in about the middle and could see what looked like the part in the pic, I couldn't get a pic at the time but does this look like the part I am talking about?

buy the bushes and bearings and press them yourself or get a local garage to press them for you.
Just remove the linkages yourself.
The write up above is a god send

when the vehicle is rocked from the side you can see all the movement in the bush, the video doesnt really show the amount of movement thats happening

Definitely the Watts linkage. It's well known for causing a rear suspension "clonking".
I've not done the job myself, but I believe that some serious pressing kit might be needed to get the old bearings out and the new ones installed, particularly those in the central bearing housing, number 16, below.
The items you're looking at are numbers 2 to 18 in the picture:-

thanks brian i am lucky that my mate has a full on garage press so i will be able to get the old ones out and new ones in at his place, i though it was a broken shocker at first, its gone quite quickly and is bloody annoying.
