Every couple months I have to add a couple ounces of clutch fluid.

No sign of a leak inside or out.

How can I find a slow leak?

Slave and master are both less than a year old.

If there is no sign, its probably the slave leaking into the housing.. I am no expert, but that is where mine was leaking.
It it all dry in the footwell..?

All dry in the footwell.

Check the bell housing wading plug hole. Mine had the same symptoms and it was the slave just leaking tiny amounts not enough to drip but could see it was damp there
