Has anybody used sparex paint,if so how good was it?.
Or can anybody recomend a paint that can be sprayed or hand painted?.

Used Sparex paint for years on the farm.
Good strong paint that and not too expensive.
Make sure you use good quality thinners and if you buy several tins of the same colour, open them all up/give them a stir to check that the colour matches up.
This was 15 years ago, so their quality may have improved.
(Or got worse).
 
Cheers BoomerV8 i have ordered sparex in masi red for my 1984 110 V8,
will give it a go ,have used sparex years ago could not remember if it was any good?.

im thinking of repainting my 90 also, let me know how it looks! How well does sparex give a good finish? I dnt know if im asking too much, but id like a glass-like finish really, how easy is that?

I re-painted my 1986 LR90. I used matt finish NATO green and matt Black. Its no kind of "mirror-finish" But looks good! Plus you are never the one worried about those trees/bushes scratching your paintwork.

My LR gets planty of abuse. When the paintwork gets real bad i will just do it all over agian!!

Hand painting all the way!!
 
Dunt ferget to let DVLA know if you've changed the colour, it should be on yer logbook.
 
i hand painted my series 3 then a slate fell off the barn . so i just did it again. plus spray painting shows up all the little dings in the bodywork.

I mean masi red not massey red,masi red as far as i know is a origanal land rover colour.
