Next problem, at least this one is not the car!!

Downloaded RAVE.1 hour later... open the welcome PDF as instructed, then if I click on the landrover badge, tries to open a website and I the following message.

Firefox can't find the server at gawtsd02.gaydon.landrover.ford.com.

An I missing something as I cant get into any of the other files

right click rve-lr.pdf>create shortcut and move to desktop or taskbar>use the icon to open the rave menu.

Try opening rave-lr.pdf

I usually use that one as it saves a click.

It opens as a PDF but wont go any where. Been a long day and I had probably better stop before I find I have smashed the computer!! Will try to sort it tomorrow!!

Open the welcome.pdf file and navigate from there - click slightly above the writing on the first page. If that doesn't work, try re-downloading or checking your Reader/Acrobat settings :)

Sorted. I had already downloaded it for my Disco. I was trying to open the new downloads but it would appear they where causing conflicts.

Thanks guys. Be back back again soon with some other queries!!

Hi guys. I've followed this thread but I still cannot get to the links pointing to http://gawtsd02.gaydon.landrover.ford.com.

There's no problem with navigating the pages or with the links that point to other pages, it's just the the links pointing to gawtsdo2 .

In-fact, if you put that link address into a browser, it says it can't find it. So, is there a typo error, or does that site no longer exist.

Thanks for the link. I'll try it.

OK, I've downloaded it but it's asking for a password to open the files. Do you have to run it on a windows system and run the exe file? I'm not on windows (45 years of computing has made me see many problems with windows. Good for playing with and thats all)

Think the download is for Windows most things are.

It comes locked to version 4 of Adobe acrobat and will only run on Windows unless to can run a Win Emulation. I agree Window is crap, but Ios is not much better.

I have a PDF copy that I run on my mac all day long with no problems, drop me a message and I'll ping you over a download link if you are having problems.

Installed a Widows XP emulator and that download seems to be working a treat. Thanks for the help with that link.

I attempted to go to the Manuals link, but received the following message:

The requested URL /Manuals.htm was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
