Excellent post. I've been looking everywhere to find correct orientation of the swivel joints on my series 2a. They don't show the camber of the chalice in the manuals.

this thread needs an update 
What an odessy and very good thread. Shows what you can do in getting parts cheaply and getting things done. The back garden platform is amazing. Watch what your doing with using scaffolding poles for lifting. They're not designed to take a lateral weight. Any more to come?
