Whilst driving to work last night at between 55 and 60 mph I developed a deep rattle whilst in 4th or 5th gear, This stopped as soon as the clutch was dipped but quickens with engine speed. At the same time the brake peddle seems to have gone slightly firmer than usual, coincidence perhaps!!!! On my way home, very steadily, when I change into 4th or 5th it starts again even a 35mph.

Any help, advice would be appreciated.

Ok thanks, will it be safe to drive for a week or so, or is it a keep it off the road situation? would this also make the brake peddle firm up though or am i looking at 2 seperate issues here?

The tablets always come in handy lol

Well checked the props and uj's all seem in good order, rattle appears to be coming from transfer box. think this is going to be expensive. oh well, One Life Live it.

Also had a friend take a look and he seems to agree on the clutch release bearing.

Here goes!!!!!!
