H hoddy New Member May 25, 2006 #1 I have just bought a 3.5 EFI V8 engine which came out of a 1989 Range Rover. The engine will be going into my 1989 LR 90 Pick-up (petrol 2.5) Will this engine mate up to my gearbox (LT77 i think?) without a problem and will I have to alter the engine mounts?

D discomania Well-Known Member May 26, 2006 #5 Oh really? I didn't think it would have been refined enough for RR's.
Widget New Member May 26, 2006 #6 It wasn't really - but that's what BL had floating around and they were strapped for cash. Disco used it too from 89-94.
