if you do manage to charge it when you connect your leads up, do positive up and just touch the neg to its terminal, and if there is a spark then you have some kind of drain or a bad short
Whenever i disconnect my battery and reconnect it, i get a spark and the under bonnet ECU box cooling fan starts. i leave mine for a week or two and it always starts but i do have a Bosch S5 110Ah 920 CCA which could run the national grid for a day or two
