Hi to all I am in the far North of Scotland Good mechanics are few ( They hate L/R. Need to replace Gasket on the V8 petrol How long should this take me??? I have worked on mostly Diesels 2.4 and perkins 4203 on my 72
LWB I have the Gasket set bolts etc I have also managed to get a new set of heads for it tested already just to get the thing back together faster. Just an idea as to how long it should take me. As i need it back on road As fast as possible. Thanks in advance Hugh

:welcome2: to lz about 5 hours depending on you, and if you working in cold or in doors. no cups of tea just work, for you young man. now out you go..:D

How did you get on with changing the heads?
Looking to change hg’s on my 4ltr so any advice would be appreciated ie what all needs to come off etc
I live in ne Scotland too ab42
 
It’s now 9 1/2 years later and he’s still not replied so takes a while ;)

If you make a thread in the RangeRover section there’s plenty of help.

Kermit_RR, Mr Gorsky, Domino are few people you can look up in the searchbar in there, they have 4.0 also
