HI , I had a full set of Pirelli scorpion zero's 255 x 60 x 18s fitted to my p38 total all in cost £619.20 .. so at £154.80 each incl of fitting , valves and balancing and tracked .was a excellent choice and a bargain for me !!! personally I think there cost effective in using the recommended tyre , still like new and done 11000 mls really are responsive no tramlining etc etc .. but obvious one has to consider these days the economics of other marques !!!!! cheers mozz

I can basically get them for £100 fitted - per corner.

At that price, I think they're worth a punt with a report back for others. :)

popular brand ive sold/fitted plenty with no dramas/issues. eu readings I have are wet c,fuel e,68db so pretty quite. note: ive visually noticed with this brand of tyre(imo) that the ratio (profile/sidewall) always appears higher than other brands with the same ratio so I would recommend fitting all 4 no less.

hi mozz +1 I only run zeros on my l322 & altenzo sports navigator on my d2 which imo are the best value for money budget/midrange tyres out there at present.

Excellent, cheers for that. :)

I know you're looking at specific tyres but I've had no problems with Hankook on both p38 and L322, don't off road though, so can't comment on that side of things. Nice and quiet though.

Mine is due for 4 new tyres and I've been pointed in the direction of these:

Anyone got any experience of them?

i had 4 of them on my 20 " l322 wheels when i bought it and 3 of the 4 were pretty low and the 4 th was ok tread but i dont know how many miles they had done. i ran with them for about 3000 miles until they were totally shafted then put on 4 scorpion zeros and to be honest, driving on the road i didn't notice any marked difference but i didn't go off road.

i liked the idea of the zeros as they had a mud/snow rating but what that meant in practical terms i dont know.

i think for on road conditions, you may see less miles than other more expensive brands but for a general tyre i think they were fine

iv just put cooper LTZ's on mine, look great, handle great, and really good off road aswell,

Road noise???

Right then, got 4 x nearly new Range Rover L405 20" wheels with superb tyres (8mm all round). Fitted them on the car. They look superb and the drive is noticeably improved.

Just need to sell the 22" Stormers now!

Thanks for your help and advice Robhew86 :clap2:

So, in my case, the Goodyear F1 Asemetric 3's on 22" rims is a bad choice? They came with the 07 RR when I bought it. Hard to find 285/35 R22 tyres. Maybe selling rims and changing to 20" is a better choice.
