Hi thanks for the reply. It's a 55 plate milage 125000 voltage on battery was just under 12 volts engine stopped when running it was 14.5 it was ok before we started, the engine does crank perfectly I'm in Sheppey in kent. It'll only start after locking doors and unlocking.

Many thks for the info

First thing I would do is charge ur battery up , needs to be roughly 12.4 volts , standing , low battery can cause all sorts of issues

Do u happen to have a code reader plse ,

When u done the belts did u replace the rear belt and oil pump cover , new tensioners , etc , plse , or just the front belts

So basically it will keep cranking over but not fire, unless u lock and unlock the vehicle

Have u got more than one key plse , are u using the key u normally use

Someone else should also be along but indeed first thing, is to charge ur battery up first , ensure all ur earth and pos cables are tight and nothing left disconnected , ie map sensor, maf by the air filter etc

Have u just don’t the belts , any work inside, ie passenger carpet footwell ???

Plse let us know how I get on
