Hi my wifes Range Rover has started Knocking, no idea why or what it could be so does anyone have any ideas.

She did say it was smoking too but I have not seen this. If this is the case, could it be connected to the knock?

If anyone can offer any advice I would be very grateful

My tdv6 started doing this a couple days ago then I get loads of smoke . Turns out it might be my turbo .
