hi my range rover p38 is running bad when I rev just over 2000rpm the injector lights comes on and kills the engine back then revs back up and keeps doin it. its fine under 2000rpm and fine over 3000rpm any1 have any ideas what this could be?

Injector light says diesel Keith.

I guessed that Tony, but I was not sure what lights the petrol has so thought I'd ask for confirmation.
Sounds like CPS or needle lift sensor to me.

its a 2.5 dse [bmw engine] 97/98. had it on diagnostics only came up with crank sensor changed that now doesn't come up with any faults

Use a top of range Faultmate MSV or Nanocom and see what that tells you.

Which may or may not tell you what is going on. May need to look at live data.

Second bit of helpful info, Where are you in the world?? Plenty off us have the kit for your jalopy so we to can tell you it's broken

is quite far away. does it usely bring up the faults? its really doin my head in now
