In case it helps, here's correct fluid check procedure. Rather than drive to get it warm, it will reach 30-40deg just idling & putting through all the gears.

+1 on definitely change the filter & re-check levels.
+2 on checking for rust, especially rear arches behind the plastic covers (They should be called water & mud retainers)

He is right you know, thoroughly check the rear quarters, they are the 'Attenborough Retreat' for tin worm, as are the rear jacking points and you must also check the dreaded suspension rear bush assemblies which are a MASSIVE job to replace!
Which rear bushes? In the hubs? There actually very easy with right tool.

No I meant the ones that support the suspension at the rear, the ones that have a huge bolt running through them that connects through the rear subframe

Ah right yea, they are big things, never done them, I know a tool is available to help and meant to be ok to do. Guess it’s like most things, right tool makes it easier.
