Hey hope you can help.
I have a 2005 my rr 322. Recently had my sdd connected to clear a suspension fault (all sorted).
I noticed during session there were two update that were recommended to run. The first was to enable tv in motion, the second was audio update.
Both were run as recommended.
This resulted in the complete unit ceasing to work or communicate with the sdd (Jlr mongoose pro).
Just keeping getting front gateway module error. This is driving a re install of all MOST system which is not possible to to the gateway error.

I have searched all over the sdd but to no joy.
Seriously miffed at this point as all systems were working perfectly before the update.

any help would be much appreciated

Did yer get it fixed in the end?

Frayed not.
Got the right section in the end, I can bump his thread but I don’t know who to tag for this particular problem, is a weird one.

I wonder if he tried disconnecting the battery, waiting 10 seconds then connecting again. It may have become locked out during the update. I once lost access via the ODBii port on my FL2 after leaving the engine on tickover while clearing fault codes. End result it wouldn't start, recognise the fob or allow access via ODBii diagnostics. Power cycle cleared it. I was using a gap iidbt at the time.

We have a few main dealer peeps on ere. One of them may see it and advise.

One of the perils of diagnostic devices is they can cause a lot of trouble. Some are too powerful for the home user and can tempt yer to do things well beyond what yer should.

You can’t just disconnect the battery with his RR - special procedure or they can throw a wobbly.
Would probably do the job with mine same as yours.

Well here is the update. The entire system was dead, no MOST working nothing. Replaced gateway module. Still dead. Then today I decided to pull every fuse every relay clean and check all, include in removing glovebox to get at the relays on the top. Took all plugs from all modules and all fuse boards. Reset the lot. Found one relay broken but this is more on the crash side so waiting for a replacement.
Reconnected all and reconnected battery (fully charged). Turned the key and every fault you could think off jumped up.
Connected SDD and removed faults. Then hey presto nav unit fired into life.
Went through every module to ensure all was good.
Seems all is well again. No faults.

Shhhhh, say that very very quietly....

There are certain times where yer do something to newer lr products where they need powered down, then powered up again, in order to react to the change. Sounds like this is one of them. Nice ter know its solved.
