Hello folks help needed on my Rangey, had the car 8 weeks now and now seem to have a problem when the car has been driven and warmed up, that when turning right at slow speed it grinds, nothing turning left or driving in a straight line, all ok no grinding or any form of noise. Its a L322 TD6 2003 Vogue.

Errm this thread is fpr EMERGENCY use only not for day to day problems. Please repost in the correct section I:E the rangerover section.

most likely the cv as it happens when turning.... id expect the wheel bearing to grumble in a straight line as well as turning

cheers steve

When mine went it only gave jipp when turning. Until it got really bad

£200 it cost to get mine done :(

LR did a recall on front diff i believe, even out of warranty vehicles i think...
my 2002 V8 was done in 2008....

But, cv a definite possiblity, :)

+1 it does sound like a CV joint on the drivers side if it is only when turning right. Used to get CV's knocking out all the time with the old Mini's.
