Just been out to the Range Rover to finish tidying it out after lugging this years Crimbo tree home....
Bumped into a neighbour who is a bit of a classic/historical car nut and we discussed my RR DSE....
My DSE is a very rare colour as only a handful where made.....
He remembers reading somewhere that Harrods comissioned Land Rover to produce a handful of Range Rovers in this particular green for use at Wimbledon one year for ferrying the Players and VIPs around in....
It also fits with the last 3 letters of my registration too.... V*** LOB
The window tinting on the rear is near to Limosine Colour and the Fronts are very dark too....
Does anyone know anything about this?, or where I could get further information from?, as my neighbour can't rembmer where he read it....
Would be nice to think I could have the vehicle that ferried Anna Kornakova or Maria Sharapova around in their tennis skirts...!!!
