Ive seen so called professional restorations where the welding wasn't a patch on what you've achieved there . Looks great.. on areas like these that are prone to heavy rust I've seen me apply the seam sealer ( I use tiger seal ) and stipple it to cover the entire repair. the stippled effect helps loose the weld bead , it seals the new material 100% and its over paintable . It also absorbs stone impacts .. experiment with the amount of material to achieve the best result .

Haha yes ive often thought when people say this is restored/that is restored, people have different standards! That can vary wildly ='D Thankyou AD I will definitely be applying some Tiger seal =)

The U-POL sealant/adhesive in the cartridge? Sounds like I don’t need to buy seam sealer again :D
