Hi all, this is my laundry list for the things to do with my Range Rover Classic. I would like to know if you would have suggestions of your own.
Problem 1.
The ceiling canvas is gone, I ripped it off a long time ago, and I would like to find a good solution, insulating from heat and cold alike. What could I do?
Problem 2.
The vehicle does not look sitting parallel on a flat surface, but is showing a slight inclination to the rear left side. I made a restoration in Poole in 2011, worked great, replaced all with Britpart stuff, police springs and oil suspension, but now it sags again, like a deflated boat. Suggestions?? Because I always tried to use original or OEM parts with the same specs instead of trying to make the springs, suspension harder.
Problem 3.
Slight heating of the engine when I am driving it at more than 2500 rpm (Diesel VM, completely remanufactured in 2001). Levels look OK. Oil rather clean. Does not smell from coolant... I regularly purge the coolant and rinse it (by the way HOW on earth do you manage to purge ALL the coolant from the VM????)
Problem 4.
The doors!! Both right and left front doors handles do'nt work anymore, I have to push the seats completely forward to open the doors with the rear handle
Problem 5
Battery drain (with the fuse left attached commanding the watch/interior lights and horn).
Phew!!
