I have a 71 classic and a disco brake/clutch bracket thingy is not a direct swap.
It can be made to fit though I swapped mine because my servo was a bit iffy and had a breaking disco. The 4 top bolt holes fit, the bottom, some line up but the bottom of the bracket/plate is different. I cut about 1" off the disco one and welded on the 1" cut off the rangie one. also had to chop a bit off the steering colum mount to miss brake pedal parts. Worth all the work as I now have a disco servo/master cylinder and the rangie brakes are 3 time better than they were
Thanks EeEK, i think if your determined you can move a mountain, i have managed to get one off an ebay breaker off a classic rangie, did you find that the rear prop fits back ok ie is the 5speed disco manual box the same length as the auto box?
