Ello njh here.

Have you tried checking the resistor pack? (Which the first company that did my gas conversion on my 2nd classic conveniently moved to where the road water could really fill it up.)
I would also just double check the fuel delivery.

P.s on my gas con there is an emergency gas start option by holding down the changeover switch.
cheers njh.

Its back to basics for you disconect fuel hose and make sure you have pressure (working fuel pump) it sounds like it may be that also look at the air intake to see if any vacum hoses or gas system are letting in any air, a sucking noise normally gives this away.My lpg system had a poorly fitting blowback release coller and ran very poorly untill i re fitted it.
