LR used them so very soft springs can be used on the back, the ride height on my manual was hilarious with a load in the back, or a trailer.

nb. LR reverted to softer springs once they had perfected their own handling kit/anti-roll bar fitment. Prior to that they had used a Harvey-Bailey system to counter roly poly complaints from customers. Before that the manuf. answer was simply stiffer springs
