Ramsay 12v winch comes with wire mounted in a frame. To fit a LR would require the frame chopping down as its too big was on the back of a recovery truck. Very very powerful winch Old school strong and reliable.

series has a winch tray in it already but I'll be making one of my "battering rams" for it at some point

whats the rating, been looking at a few ramsays on ebay most are about 4,600lb IIRC
 
Kev no problems I actually have 2 of these but only one motor pinion. the smaller one would fit right in a series the frame but I have no motor or pinion for it. Was refurbishing them but time has run out and need cash to buy a car trailer and crash helmet for the offroader.

But has no motor pinion I was told that the pinion and motor from the larger one would fit but I think the larger winch would also fit just with a decent mount.

HAHA no these are old school reliable worm wheel jobbies wil pull the house down many forrestry landies had then donkeys years ago

how much for the working one and non working one then ?

Thinking the big one might be nice for the front of my series once I get it going, if not it can go on the discreet mount on disco
 
Winch for sale kev chose a different one!

£100 as it does need the frame cutting down to fit a lr and little bits like a rubber grommet and odd n sods like that. This is on a largish frame bare that in mind. The winch has an oil supply and is not a cheaply light use winch it's made for a working vehicle.
