ive bought a new trailer from fleabay the hitch is a hoop and pin type, having bought a jaw pin towball from fleabay and the first tow today ive noticed the nose sits a bit low.
What can i get to raise the towball/pin prob 2-3" so its getting into the rear bumper height, the towbar is a towsure..
ive seen the sliders but was hoping for a good cheaper suggestion

According to the regs / law you are not supposed to raise a tow bar, only lower it.

So be careful, if ya get a misserable copper he might take exception to it.

I suspect that rule is to help protect the vehicle occupants should the trailer be hit by another vehicle from behind, thus the draw bar would go under the towing vehicle instead of though it.

you maybe right but ifso as ive got the van it shouldnt count then, plus whats less safe an unlevel trailer or the low percentafe of tat situation occuring?

on closer inspection the towbar is a 1ft inch sq box section that bolts into the rest of the towbar/mounting brackets, and i think ive seen a swan neck that will bolt in the same place that i can bolt my jaw pin onto i presume this should be fine as they are readily available parts?
