I want a rag top series 3, but they seem to be hard to come by. any advice on removing the hard top and fitting a soft top would be very welcome. As i have no experence working on land rovers.
 
1/ buy canvas and poles
2/ remove hard top
3/ fit poles
4/ fit canvas
5 put hard top on e bay
6/ use money from sale of hardtop to purchase tailgate
7/ fit tailgate
 
I got the soft top gear for mine when i bought it 30 odd years ago, you could pick the kit up for buttons then nobody wanted them, use to fit the soft top in the summer but I leave it on all year now i love it, nothing to changing over just lots of nuts and bolts have you tried the normal paddocks/craddocks route.

Rag Top And Canes In Local Papers Go For Around 200 To 250 In Quite Good Nick, Have Been Thinking About Doing The Same But Insewerance And Veeickle Seacureite Are Other Isssewes To Consider
