Hi Guys,

Does anybody know what thread the nut is, that fixes the rear part of the radius arm to the chassis bracket??

Am I wrong in thinking it's M16 UNF?? (not sure what M16 is in old money...)

There's definitely a difference between defender/disco thread and the rangy ones...!

Thanks

Loz

age of rangie.?..ie does it have narrow or wide front radius arms, cos they are different...and m16 unf dont exist...m16 is metric, unf is imperial.
narrow arms are imperial, as are bolts, so i assume so are rears (trailng)..

Hi guys, sorry only replying now, I don't have the nuts to hand, hence needing the thread so I can buy some new ones! It's the narrower radius arms, the bracket that the arm bolts onto on the axle casing is about 48mm wide. The rear threaded part of the arm is 15mm wide (diameter) . I'll post photos of the difference asap. I would use the spare set of arms I have, which are the coarser thread, but that would mean cleaning and painting the old axle casing I have and changing the swivel pin assembly as well!

Cheers

Loz
