Hi All,

Just had to have the radius arm bushes replaced on the near side of my 300tdi. Managed to get the thing off and push out the bushes with a 36mm socket, that was after a bit of heat treatment and a saw cut. But just could'nt get the new ones in. Tried using a heavy duty vice and then a threaded bar with nuts and washers still no joy. Also had to replace both the rear trailing arm bushes at each end as well. Unfortunately I just had to give up with those and worked out that it would be cheaper to buy a new pair with the bushes already in than get the local garage to push them out. Any advice suggestion as to how to get the bushes into the offside Radius Arm when I come to do that one!!

nylons so much easier!!!
i broke my vice doing the friggin panhard rod with OE parts .! now just use a
good set of nylon bushes .!!
just burn the old ones out with a blow torch its a whole lot easier
