Some months ago when the Land Rover Radio/Sat Nav unit from ES PREMIUM was switched off it would not come back on again ,however ,after a few weeks of driving it suddenly came back on and was problem free until recently it was turned off again and the same problem returned (now learnt lesson -not to turn it off) but has anyone had this problem please unfortunetly i don't have a handbook to be able to quote the model number

The ES Premium are one of the last D2s models made so it's a 2004MY and it has a V8 engine.. I hope that helps you id the problem.

I can't help the OP with this issue as I've never had it.

I have a 2004 td5 es premium have you checked it has got power eg lose connections or poss the connects on the front ( which drops down to put cd in ) as some times get damaged or dirty or worn

yes its 2004MY with a V8 -I was first asking before attempting to take the unit out -it was a little strange as after the first incidenent of not switching on it performed effortlessly for weeks until being turned off again and then nothing so a loose connection was not what first came to mind so puzzled.....

Has it ever been leaked on by water from sunroofs/windscreen?,that did for the HK unit in mine.

dont think so but this does happen from time to time and is another job on the list
