got standard disco radio tape in the 300 tdi i want to put a cd radio unit in what about wiring ? is there a loom adapter you can get and what about dash controls any way i can keep them
 
halfords sell a harness to fit most makes but not sure on the dash controls, i lost mine when i fitted a new head unit and it ****ed me off for a while but now i don't bother ;)

With certain makes (esp Alpine and Sony) you can get an adapter to make the steering wheel controls work with their aftermarket radios
