Hello, I am currently looking to replace the factory radio in my Freelander 2004 hardback.
My biggest problem is to find a radio that is compatible with the ptb-30gf plug ( Metra 71-5520 Plug in Ford (R) Lincoln (R) Mercury (R)).
And the standard power plug.( see pictures)
I don’t really care to find a radio with a screen but it has to be double din.
If somebody could point me to alternatives or the name that is more common for this setup I would be very grateful.

I replaced my stereo/radio for a Bluetooth version with a hands free remote that goes on the steering wheel. Like you, impossible to find a modern one that matches the old sockets these days so I just got a stereo that I liked and then bought an adapter for the harness.

I've got a pre facelift hippo so plugs were different again from what you've shown me but online/ Halfords have a ton of different adaptors for stereos. It's also fairly easy to get some old plugs and wire up your own adapter... All the wiring diagrams are online.
