advice needed:confused: does 2.5 n/a diesel have a built in oil cooler in the rad?
mines leaking and been offered one that is labelled 90, 110, diesel and v8.

good advice, been offered a new rad real cheap that the guy says is for 90,110 diesel and v8. Have not seen it but was considering the oil cooler bit. Pretty sure current rad has integral oil cooler would be great if this one has the same. If not then as you say fit separate cooler.

i dont think the n/a has an oil cooler. the td does but that ws a later addition. dont quote me though..

My old 110 N/A had an oil cooler in front of the main rad. was a U shaped tube with fins on it. Wasn't connected to fook all though.

Not sure see, I got pipes going from oil filter to side of rad so assumed it is an integral oil cooler, just worrying new rad may not be same, but this lump has had a lot of ******g around done to it in its seven previous owners.

ok.
I decided to make my landy universal as far as stuff like that is concerned.
I have a slitty oil rad retro fitted with imperial banjos.
it means that at the scrap yard there are hundreds of oil rads for 5 quid.make fit when needed.Had it fitted in old rangie.brackets were simple few hours work.
Radiator i had a big old V8 one on a tdi.so i can use any radiator again hundreds are in the scrapper.
This makes landy cheap...
go for it.

cheers dude, I will go ahead and get this cheap rad and sort out a similar set up. A bit late in the year for this but my top tip if its any good.... cheap radiator muffler, pound land tool roll exactly fits across front grill. used it all this winter just gone, and warm even in that snow and frost.
