Defender 200tdi radiator giving me a bit of a headache can't get it to sit square. Dosent bother me except it means my fan catches the fan cowl.
What way is the top of the radiator held in place there dosent seem to be any adjustment in the brackets

Thanks in advance

2 brackets at the top, the bits that attach to the rad have rubber mounts.
The brackets adjust by moving the bracket where it attaches to the panels at the sides.

Loosen off all the fittings and see if you can wiggle it straight. Most landrovers aren't built completely straight to begin with. Brummie car makers are given hammers but not set squares cos they are for poofs.

I can't see any adjustment in them the bolts seem to be fixed

There should be slight movement in the bracket with all the fittings loosened, if there isn't, create some using a rat tailed file in the holes in the panel.

Or, like he says^^^^^, just use brute force.

If that’s a standard fit engine, check engine mounts as well.
That’s if the marks of the fan are on the lower cowl.

The radiator frame is located onto two lugs on the chassis at the bottom, worth checking these are still intact/in the right place - and that the little rubber bushes are still intact.
