Just joined up. Wondered if anyone could help!

I have a 98R freelander1.8. A week ago the hydraulic clutch went. Since then the radiator fan cuts in the moment you start the engine even if it is stone cold. (been told this is the first sign of headgasket going)

I also have a coolant leek which I have been told is the water pump as the water pours out the bottom the moment you fill it up. Could this be related?

Any information you could supply would be much appreciated
