Radiator cap rubber is worn and torn and leaks.....Need new one.

Went to Halfords. Note next to range of caps said consult sapres desk. Chap knew nothing about caps. Now, some caps looked like the business. There is an issue to do with the pressure at which they lift. This is a safety device to prevent radiator etc from bursting. My cap says 9psi. Smallest I could find at Halfords - 13psi. I don't know if 4 psi matters very much.

Alternative is to get one from Paddocks or Craddocks.

Now soemone knew what they were doing reducing it by 1lb/sq in. Methinks they weren't idiots and had reasons. So, fit corret one.
