Mine needs replacing due to going abit rotten. Wouldn't mind putting a nice ally one on that wont rot, something like you get on jap turbo cars. Disco only gets used off road so sees alot of mud in the rad.

IMHO you'd be wasting your money as custom alloy ones are very expensive. I had one made for my cobra which had a Chevy small block in it which was running a Rover rad and it cost me about £400 8 years ago! Get a quality replacement and spend your money on some other goodies.

I looked into custom rads and way too much for a muddy old disco!! I know a good ally farbricator so might see if he can adapt an existing one to make fit

try serck marston radiators or other radiator re manufacturer as they can do double pass or similar using existing end tanks on some radiators.

I'll ask them. Prices for a new rad for a 3.9 are stupid so I'll probably end up getting a re core anyway

Allisport are the people 2 speak 2. They wont try 2 sell u summit, they will tell u wot wud b better 4 u an advise u

If you give them your mobile phone number, I'm guessing they'll probably text you back! :)

Or,
Buy a used one (they do appear on ebay), and remove your old one, use a strong citric acid solution, pour in the old removed unit and leave it in the corner of your garage for a month or so. Thoroughly flush with clean water, then swap back again

I paid about £200 for a bearmach supplied 4 row, iirc.

Was a vast improvement over my rusty old one! Even stayed cool on warm days!
