Hi all

Just done clutch and some bits and had the trans’ jack bracket in the 3 triangular patterned holes in the bottom of the box, anyway now it’s weeping oil from the centre hole. All 3 bolts were the same length but I was wondering if it’s possible the casing has been damaged or if this is a common thin spot in the castings. Only other thing is the box had been empty for days so I gave the oil bottle an extra squeeze before fitting the bung but breather has just been checked and bolt holes were clear...thoughts anyone please???

Many thanks

Just incase this is of any use to anyone, the centre hole of these 3 is about 10mm shallower than the other two, so the outer 2 are about 30mm and the middle 1 about 20mm, that's on my '55A-K' box anyway. And yes a bit of sealer on a short bolt sorted it
