Hello guys, i know here was mass of similar questions, but i want to know, which biggest tyres i could buy for absolutely stock (without any mods, spacers, lift kits, etc) V6. At the moment i'm using 225/55 tyres and it's time to replace them.
Thanks.

225/55/17 are too small and look silly imo. They also make high speed cruising a pain as the engine is racing more than necessary as your speedo will be over 10% over reading.

225/60/17 or 225/65/17 go on OK and give you more ground clearance and a higher ratio. You can get a better selection of AT tyres in 225/65/17, if that suits your needs.

How much clearence
with 225/65?

Enough. It varies a bit from one make/type of tyre to another.
But you will have about 8mm from the strut tube and about 3mm under the spring cup. A 5mm shim spacer will give you more clearance at the tube and spring cup.

So guys, i havce to decide.
As i said before, i don't want to use any mods.
choices:
225/55 (as my present)
235/55 (found somewhere that this size compatible as well)
225/60 (should look better)
another sizes seems are very close to touch something probably.
I think i will try to use AT.
