One thing that doesn't work is that after unending the disco, if I jump out and whether I leave the key in or not, when I go to turn it over the immobiliser light on the dash (red key) flashes so I have to lock then unlock before I can turn the disco over....any ideas?

Cheers in advance

If the indicator is flashing either press the unlock button or move the fob near to the ign. switch, the lamp will extinguish and the engine will re-mobilise.
The engine immobilisiation indcator is just that, indicating that the engine is immobilised if the presents of the fob at the ign. switch doesn't remove it u have a problem. :(

My fob is temperamental aswell, I soldered one of the battery holder pins back into place as the battery was slack, and thought I fixed the problem, but the fob wont unlock always on first time, I even have to unlock by key and jump in, keep pressing the unlock button (while hazards go, ive disconected the alarm), until it stops and then she'll start, I dont know where to start looking for problems? Any help? Thanks.

The crystal within the fob could be faulty (lost its tuning) or button contact is iffy maybe, so replace the fob or have your one overhauled, simples :)

Just enter your emergency access code via the drivers door lock that will override the immobiliser while you are waiting for a replacement fob but don't lock the doors as you will have to enter the code all over again which is a bit of a pain I believe.
so how would you enter the code ?

I would follow the procedure that is in my owners handbook. If I didn't have my handbook then would search the forum as I know the procedure all 6 stages of it has been posted there more than once.
