Tensioner and auxiliary belt finally fitted
It's love and quiet, well, quiet as can be for a Discovery
If littlen has a cat nap I'm planning on replacing tailgate door lock Spring later on

Finally, I have fully working central locking on all doors... Works perfectly, no need to lift locks or turn keys to get in and out... Proper chuffed to bits, well worth the £3.50 quid for replacement springs.

Roof lining and front bumper are the plans for this week I think. :thumb:
Slowly ticking off the to do list...

Wasn't planning on doing this today
Just had a sudden burst of energy
Roof lining was out within half hour

Trimming took a good couple of hours
Could of done with some stronger glue around the sunroof blank sections
But it's a massive improvement
Refitting took another hour and a half
I still need to flick the window seals over the trim around the roof ( alpine) Windows

No befores sorry
Was done between the showers but it was hanging!!!
I'll try grab better pics tomorrows

Got the Disco back from my mate's today...
He's done the 3 bits of welding picked up as advisories on Mot, plus a couple of other bits he found
He's then treated the fresh metal to some protection... ( this was one of my jobs to do )
Buts he's took it upon himself to treat the full underside...

Looks a totally different car now

Sweet truck!
And a great job there mate.
Where did you get the material? How does it go with the trim? (Initially thought it was tan interior, must be the flash) Do they have tan as well?
How did you do it? Did you spray entire panel with glue and then lay down cloth, pressing and stretching as you went? Or bit at a time?

Had time to detail the Disco today

A few pics for now... Photobucket has been playing up so I'll add the rest tomorrow

Well the Discovery has gone on to a new owner
I presume the new owner will be along to confess soon... ( I was contacted a while back on Detailing world and the rest is history, it was pretty much a done deal )
I'm sure it'll only get better from here on and it will be missed ( grown very fond of it, wasn't expecting too )

I'm sure I'll be back soon with a 5 door variant in eva 300 or Td5 form
