can you adjust gearstick linkage on 2.5 diesel manual box

checked your oil levels in the g/box? sounds like it might be low to me
:welcome2: by the way hope you got thick skin and a good sense of humour they are a pre-requisite on here, give as good as you get you'll be fine

in what way are they difficult to select?

But es youy can adjust it, if you explain how they are hard to select i will try to explain how to adjust it to suit, if it will help :

sometimes it just grates trying to get fifth and first also reverse is stiff
sorry i,m late been to work

grating into fifth? Sounds more like internal problems to me.

Reverse is also usually stiff, as there is no synchro system. Make sure that your clutch hydraoulic system is all bled and adjusted properly, as this sounds more likely to me than the gear stick linkage.
