Anyone know of this ? Specifically what "silver" it was. Trawled the net and found nothing. Been offered a colour coded hard top - but the vendor does not know the paint code other than it came off a Quicksilver Special Edition. As there are 4 silvers in the Freelander 1 colour chart, I really don't just want to take a punt and hope it's a match.

There isn't such a thing as a Quicksilver Freelander Special Edition.

You can tell which type of silver it is from the age of the car. Many folks mistake white gold for silver when it's not next to a silver car!

You got the reg/VIN of the donor vehicle to check the spec on?

Thanks for the replies but all of the above questions were asked of the vendor before asking on here .I bought one before and travelled half way round the country to find it was not a match, it was silver, but not Zambezi silver as the guy had claimed so I had to be cautious when buying this one .
The hard top was all that was left of the vehicle the vendors had been breaking over a long period. Luckily for me they eventually found the original invoice which confirmed the colour as Zambezi silver and now it's on my Freelander.

Makes a real difference to how it looks.
